The Sanchester & Lycombe Joint Railway (or S&LJR for short) is a late pre-grouping company focused on the eastern region of England. It comprises of an 1890s styled line and mainly eastern region locomotives and rolling stock, though there is no rule on what can and cannot be run on the line. We offer a wide variety of routes, connections, services, industries and stations; including Nordale Colton Abbey, one of the busiest stations on the server. Our line runs from the capital in Nordale out of Colton Abbey, through the rural heartland of Newtonshire and into the beating heart of our railway, Sanchester Queen Street. From there our line runs to Grenworth central connecting the S&LJR directly to places like Grove Street (WMR) and the FDE. We are currently under-going a major route upgrade scheme which will see the stations and line be improved and will also feature a brand new high speed mainline linking Nordale, Sanchester and Grosmore (our half-way mark of our network). It's currently a very exciting time for the S&LJR as there is much change as the line re-forms to be what it was always meant to be, a fun but accurate representation of 1890s railways in Britain. If there was ever a good time to join, it's now.
