The MRN is an industrial light railway built upon the mainline of a long departed company. It takes place at steam's end, with the worn and torn fleet reflecting the setting. It's main base of operations, Marsham, is an industrial city, and isn't exactly the best place to live on the isles. Despite the bleak setting, the railway still runs dutifully and to the needs of all involved.
