The CSJR is a British subsidiary company of the GMR and focuses as a GWR heritage company of the 1930 to 1960 period though does have some rolling stock from other companies. The route starts at Kinsbury Junction where it connects with the GSR mainline up to the terminus of Barnstaple. The CSJR also has a narrow-gauge line from Snowdon to Porthmines; which also has a clay pit that provides clay to the brick works at Stokehampton. Occasional railtours arrive at the CSJR bringing tourists from across the server to the branchline.
